Tony Pua...more U turns than a Political Frog in Heat.

steadyaku47 comment:

I tried to follow Tony's reasoning from the time he was for Khalid, then against Khalid, for Khalid's Selangor government and then against Khalid Selangor government, against Azmin and then for Azmin etc etc...and I gave up. Why not you work it our for yourself from his own words below.

Comment by a blogger on Tony Pua:

In Feb 2014, TSKI was a CLEAN, honest, transparent & hardworking CM. Selangor is GIFTED to have TSKI as their CM. Now in August 2014, TSKI is a corrupted person doing thing secretly. In August he needs to be SACKED. Tony! whats going on in Selangor?

DAP Selangor will extend its fullest support to Azmin Ali to provide him with every opportunity to prove himself to be the best Menteri Besar Selangor has ever had

Tony Pua
DAP Selangor Chairman and MP for Petaling Jaya Utara

DAP Selangor welcomes the appointment of the state assemblyman for Bukit Antarabangsa, Azmin Ali as the new Menteri Besar of Selangor which brings to an end a unnecessary and frustrating protracted political crisis in the state.
While DAP Selangor is gravely concerned over how the will of the majority in the state assembly has been trampled upon, it is equally important that we end the political crisis swiftly so that we can resume normal service to serve the people of Selangor.
Hence, DAP Selangor and our state assemblymen will give the fullest support and cooperation to the new Menteri Besar to ensure that we maximize the opportunity over the next 3 years to prove to the people why the crisis and their patience is worth the while.

DAP: Azmin’s the ‘fresh start’ Selangor needs

Tony Pua calls the previous Selangor administration a failure and places his confidence on Azmin achieving greater success.
tony pua dapPETALING JAYA – DAP Selangor chairman Tony Pua today marked the end of Selangor’s political crisis with a resounding endorsement of PKR’s Azmin Ali as the state’s new Menteri Besar.
Calling Azmin a “fresh start” for Malaysia’s richest state, Pua expressed confidence that Azmin would fare better than his predecessor.
“With the appointment of Azmin, the new government has been given a fresh start to succeed where the previous administration failed,” Pua said.
The MP for Petaling Jaya Utara also said that this time, the Selangor state Exco would listen to the voices of the people unlike the previous administration when the people were ignored.
Pua said, “We must also ensure that our elected representatives, councillors and civil servants, particularly in the local councils listen to the rakyat they serve, instead of sitting on a high pedestal,” he quipped without mentioning who in particular he was referring to.
Pua also said Azmin’s appointment would mean a “more consultative, inclusive and people-centric” administration was now in place to fulfil PR’s promises to the people.
He added that he was confident that together with Azmin, PR would continue to “adhere to the highest standards of accountability and transparency, by implementing policies such as fully competitive tenders and disclosure of assets.”
